Poofy. Frizzy. Unmanageable. I've heard it all.
Growing up as the only one of four siblings with thick, dense, curly hair (and as a third-generation Indian-American), I just brushed it out. I never saw anyone in my community wear their natural texture. For the longest time, I didn't even know I had tight curls. My cousin once got a hairbrush as a white elephant gift, because curly hair was just seen as messy. That was normal to us. I had no idea what my hair actually was beneath all those labels.
Finding a routine that made me feel confident every day was a challenge, and that's exactly why I created Kinetic Curls. So teens like me can embrace their natural texture, hassle-free and unapologetically.
I spent nine months researching, taking a cosmetic science course, and working with a cosmetic chemist to get the formula right. Every jar is filled, designed, and packaged by me, with the hope that it gives you the confidence I had to find the hard way.
